Who else thought that Sammy Davis, Jr. would appear in the episode. I figured he would make a surprise appearance by the end of the episode. I mean he did make appearances on sitcoms in the 1970s. I was a little surprised when the episode ended and Sammy didn't appear once.

Another thing, why would Raj, Dee, Dwayne and Shirley all believe that Rerun actually knew Sammy Davis Jr? Dee surpsrised me the most. She doesn't seem that gullible. It seemed obvious that Rerun only said he knew Sammy to impress that girl, and the gang fell for it too.

That one is a very strange episode. It didn't give the series a good send-off. I did think they were going somewhere with Sammy Davis, Jr. and then he didn't show. It seemed like "Well, we couldn't get him in the end but here's the last episode of our show". It kind of left me feeling incomplete.

I agree, this episode was a let down. It's the only one of the whole season that I didn't care for at all.

Even worse, they recycled this storyline on WHN with the big rap artist who never shows up. Remember when the gang had to emulate Run-DMC.
