I know that the brother and daphne got married, but who did the father get married to? and did frasier move, or . . .

Daphne and Niles had a baby boy and named him David.

Martin married Wendy Mallick (I forget her name on the show)

Roz became the new Station Manager of KACL

Fraiser quit his radio job and moved to Chicago to be with his true love.

WOWE, Frasier quit his job and moved to San Francisco. The reason you are thinking Chicago is: during the final episodes, Frasier had great interest in a girl who moved to Chicago. The final show starts out with Frasier telling the story to a fellow passenger on the plane about how his father got married, Daphne had her baby and how he excepted the job in San Francisco. When the plane lands at the end of the show, Frasier ends his story with the lady in the seat next to him about "taking chances". The pilot announces their arrival in CHICAGO. (Frasier made a detour to follow his heart). I just watch the final show today.

Pat, you are making an assumption. It is not completely clear from the show whether Frasier decided to turn down the job in San Fran to move to Chicago or instead was, as you say, just making a detour. I think the theme of the show argues for the interpretation that he decided to throw caution to the wind and gamble on a relationship with Laura Linney's character in Chicago.

Thanks fitzlaw. It's just weird thinking you know what happened and then reading someone else's interpretation which sheds a different light on it. I always thought it was a detour.
It's also kind of funny how he was headed to San Francisco to do a TV show and Kelsey ends up doing "Back To You." I know it's not the same, but it has its parallels.

Sure thing, Pat. I'm not saying I'm right, it's just my opinion. Maybe Frasier stayed in Chicago and went into private practice with Bob Hartley!

Default Thanks again fitzlaw

Maybe a reunion would settle this. I wish they would come out with one soon.
