Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, and Mork and Mindy season 2 will not sell

i am so pissed at what paramount pictures has done to all three series that i talked about, they are going to take allot of heat for the incomplete series which we the fans has long been waiting for to find out that they are going to be using generic replacement music instead of the real thing, they have done a poor job, i did not see it comerical advertise, paramount is in serious trouble we all can forget seeing the rest of the season, i am sorry to say that but watch you all are going to say studd you where right dame paramount i lost respect for them, and they are going to get allot of calles with complaints, i bet garry marshal will be pissed but paramount has themselves to blame instead of buying all of these compaines they should have fouced on the tv series i am not buying niether of there dvd's

If that's the case, you might have to forward your complaints to Paramount's parent company on the TV division, CBS Studios. CBS now controls Paramount's entire TV library, so express your complaints to them.

At least full scenes weren't cut out because of music, which was the case with WKRP. Unless you only like the show because of its music, I don't see it to be such a big deal.

hey i do because happy days was known for its music and if you see the report that pavanbadle posted up about the music being replaced with whats heard and seen in syndication to me its not worth buying it and we have waited all of this time to see the screw up nobody is going to buy these dvds if some of the scenes are not completed, pava had said that the picture quailty is bad and the only music that was cleared was fats blue berry hill, again we will not see season 3 and the rest of the series if season 2 does not sell and believe me it will not sell paramamount has nobody to blame but themselves an i wonder what garry marshal is thinking he might be pissed too

I think they did remove some scenes with music, but they mostly replaced the music with instrumental crap. Full review will be posted later tonight by Todd.

so it breaks down something like this then:

Season 1 - complete music, no scenes cut; music licensing budget: $1 million.

Season 2 - all music replaced, several scenes cut, garbage quality; music budget: 50 bucks and a pack of Lucky Strides.

just so long as we're all clear on this issue here.

People have reported elsewhere that one of Eddie Mekka's singing scenes from Laverne & Shirley Season 2 was cut. Really a shame; I could more easily accept background music being replaced, but every effort should be made for inclusion of all scenes.
