This episode has a complete lack of Mike Brady ethics. It's almost laughable. Bobby tells his friends that he is friends with football star Joe Namath. When he tells his parents about his "predicament", they just sympathize with him, rather than emphasize that what he did was wrong.
Carol asks Mike, "There must be someone we know who knows Joe Namath." Then, for the rest of the show, Mike goes out of his way to help Bobby, and finally finds somebody...who knows somebody...who does know him. What's up? |

That is pretty unbelievable. Can't you picture your parents getting you out of a jam like that? Mine sure wouldn't have.

LOL, it was funny when Carol asks Mike "We don't even KNOW Joe Namath, do we Mike?"... Like she wasn't sure if they knew Joe Namath or not, and had to confirm with Mike that they didn't! Of course, Mike did say that Bobby and Cindy would be penalized for illegal procedure... so there was probably SOME kind of punishment administered. |
