Family Trees Missing Some Branches - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone know anything about Mr. McGillicuddy (Lucy's father)? Is he ever mentioned on the show? We know Mrs. McGillicuddy is alone and as far as I know, it is never revealed how or why.

Lucy shows a picture of her grandfather in a photo album, but I don't think any other family member is ever mentioned.

And if Ricky grew up with five brothers, how come none of them appeared to meet Ricky's family when they went to Cuba?

Can we assume that Lucy, Fred and Ethel (as well as Little Ricky) are the only children in their families? That's kind of unusual.

Maybe Ethel has three middle names to make up for missing siblings!

Very hair-raising points Madame X, and considering as Oppenheimer was always the completist, it's rather strange how these major details are left rather alusive and vague in the series.
