I don't know where else to make this thread, so I put it here.
Here are my favorite mini-series: ROOTS THE TEMPTATIONS WINDS OF WAR FATAL VISION (the story of Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald and the murder of his family) THE THORN BIRDS HOLLYWOOD WIVES LACE V As a matter of fact, TVOne is showing Roots this week to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its original showing. |

My top two are The Awakening Land (http://imdb.com/title/tt0076981/) and the BBC's Pride and Prejudice (http://imdb.com/title/tt0112130/). Yes, the Colin Firth version.
The Temptations miniseries was good as well. I'd also love to see The Thorn Birds, Centennial and Roots, which are all on DVD now if I'm not mistaken. |

Most definately Lonesome Dove. Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones were brilliant in that show.
