LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC's "Medium" is moving closer to a pickup for a fourth season, despite losing some of its luster in a new time slot.
The network has ordered six additional scripts for the psychic crime drama starring Patricia Arquette -- a strong indication that it intends to follow up with an order for episodes. After a hot start as a midseason entry in 2005, "Medium" cooled somewhat when it was transplanted from its original 10 p.m. Monday slot to 10 p.m. Wednesday, where it ranks third. However, it regularly builds on the lead-in from another NBC crime drama with an uncertain future, "Crossing Jordan." |
