Yeah, I felt bad for David, too. This is the episode where I really started to hate DJ. Pretty much from this episode onwards, DJ became unbearable in my opinion. I felt really bad for David in this eppy.

Yeh was really a weak person. Women can make men weak. She was nasty and knew she could have him back whatever. Not all women are like this btw As for DJ I think mark made him bad as he enjoyed making david feel bad a lot of the time

Angry

Ive just watched this episode, and boy do i want to smack Dj in the mouth!
I hate that all Dan is bothered about is the fact that he got beat up by a 12 year old plus david let Dj do that to him because he wasnt going hit a kid back.
Dan should of told Dj off instead it seemed like he was proud of him.
It would of been nice to see Davids character more stronger etc..in the later season.

I don't like DJ's behavior either.

I think he may have been that way for all the years that DJ was bullied and taunted when he was younger. I am not defending him, merely trying to come up with some reason as to why he did that to David.

Isn't he such a cutie when he was young? I always felt bad for him when the Darlene and Becky would pick on him, etc.

I hated DJ in this episode as well. I liked him better in the last season since he was finally starting to figure out who he was and what he liked/disliked instead of trying to be a bully to David because he had aggression

I don't like the part in the Disney World episode where Roseanne slapped David. That was uncalled for, especially since she and David had both come from abusive childhoods. I know it was played for laughs, but still. Plus, there was a scene in the episode "White Sheep of the Family" where she literally said that David had no future.

At one stage Roseanne (in real life) was toying with the idea of having DJ's character come out! I guess that idea got shelved. Imagine the look on Dan's face if that storyline had've played out!

I can't say I felt bad for David because he just stood there and took it and he was always a wuss! That is hard to respect and as for DJ? Yeah he was a little creep but he was also a normal boy. He had a big mouth because his mother had a big mouth so that's on her and Dan to teach him differently. DJ may have been a punk at times, but I found humor in his character too.
