By the way, I'm in search of a PETE AND GLADYS
episode which I haven't seen since it's syndication
on CBS daytime in the sixties. The episode is called
SKIN DEEP/THE GREAT STONE FACE, but it doesn't seem
to exist in anyone's collection. I remember as a child it being
one of the funniest things I'd ever seen. Gladys gets a
mud facial which hardens into a brick and they have to
chisel her out of it.

A supporting character on `December Bride,' Pete Porter took center stage in this spin-off as he continued to deal, in typical '60s-sitcom fashion, with his daffy wife (whom he had often complained about on the earlier series but who had never been seen).
