Default Do you delete your PMs?

It is incredible how many you can get in 6 years-lol I never really looked at the total till today. I have 1,152. Most of them are from the trading post, but still that is a lot. I don't think I need the ones from 2001 anymore but I might keep one or two anyway. It is a good thing we are allowed to keep 5000.

lol, I have 1720 right now and that was since I started using this name on August 16, 2003.

I used to have a LOT more - like around 2200, but I decided "Okay, I don't want to remember these PMs anymore" and deleted 'em.

(the limit is 50,000. Not 5,000.)

I think I have only deleted abt 100. And that was abt three months ago. Like Brian, I am lazy.
I have over 1000 PM's. That is one reason I was able to decipher who my first PM was from. It was from Brian Damage. My second was from Solomon. He was trying to tell me Good Times was a spin-off. Just kidding. He was welcoming me to the board.

Good to know I'm not the only one who does this. People who know me in real life think I'm a freak of nature when I tell them I do that. I even saved my emails from the inbox of my school email... The school registered an email address for me in January of 1997, and I managed to save all of my emails from there after I graduated from HS in 2003, because I knew they would be deleting my email address shortly afterwards.

I have other email addresses I've had since 1998 and 1999, and I've pretty much held on to 'em all. Plus, now if you sign up for an email address (especially Gmail), you get a massive amount of storage for your emails. I remember when I registered my first Yahoo email address many years ago, I only got 3MB of storage. Now it's 1GB - WAY more storage than they were giving me 10+ years ago.

Sorry, I got carried away. I got a little giddy when you posted that.

I don't think I've ever deleted any. I have 882. I don't get that many anymore.

I have deleted a couple of them on occasion, but they were mostly one- or two-word PMs. I hate keeping the short ones. For the most part, I get lazy about deleting my PMs. I have a total 574 at the moment. I am lazy because I noticed we are able to have 25,000. I am nowhere near that amount, so it would be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng time until I get that far where I will have to delete to make room.
