Oh! Oh! "Staring? How'd ya like your eyes closed for good, heh?!" -Laverne, "A Date With Fonzie... but if ya mean one of the cast members said it...
"Well, do ya dig it?" -Joanie "No, but I might bury it!" -Howard "The rain may fall but let a smile be your umbrella!" -Potsie "How'd ya like that umbrella up your nose?" -Fonzie "Well, did you have something to eat?" -Howard "Oh yeah, the losers bought us pizza. But Potsie couldn't eat it so he had to lick the cheese, he had to lick the cheese, Dad, it was funny!" -Richie ------------------ "Well, Laverne is sort of childish" "Childish? Childish? COming from a grown woman who throws tea parties for her stuffed cat!" "Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!" "Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!" |

When Fonzie introduced a black drummer to join Richie's group, and Richie said,"Why didn't you tell us he was Negro?"Fonzie replied,"I dunno.I didn't tell him you were Protestant!"
Later in the same show,Mr.Cunningham told Fonzie that prejudice was a stronger force than being cool.He explained,"We've always had prejudice.'Cool,'has only been around as long as Benny Goodman." |

How about "nerd" & "sit on it." I like the episode in which Ralph accidently smashes Fonzie's bike & tells Fonz to "sit on it" & Fonz says "aaaay." Ralph meant to say "try it out." I always wondered where those terms came from. I know that Henry Winkler said on the reunion show that he thought up the term "aaaaay."

You may have a nail in your heel Leather but you got a lot of soul
I still got it! Even in retirement! Ralph we would have made it sooner but the huskies couldn't pull the car! Fix it for me I haven't got the stomach for it! I still got it, even in 3 pieces! (milkcan escape). Just a few of Ralphs best jokes. |

My favorite individual quotes came from the episode where Mrs. C says,"Sit on it Fonzie!" Then Joanie yells,"Everyone duck!"
