Just for you, a little preview of an upcoming file to be added to our website in the near future:
*** In the pilot episode, Jeannie comes out of the bottle, travels across the room, goes through the keyhole, comes out the other side of the keyhole, and then magically goes from smoke to a human form. How did they do THAT? Basically - they took a little piece of smoke-cloth, put it on a wire, had a little drill motor, and that made it seem like the smoke was swirling. *** How about the smoke itself? What was it? It was CO2. However, that had problems in itself. The flakes come floating down. So there had to be a big screen on a motor, which when the CO2 would come down, then only the smoke would come down. *** How about the smoke itself? What was it? It was CO2. However, that had problems in itself. The flakes come floating down. So there had to be a big screen on a motor, which when the CO2 would come down, then only the smoke would come down. *** So how did Barbara finally appear from all that smoke? Once the smoke-cloth sequence was through, an assistant would start the CO2 fire extinguishers. They switched film, Barbara stepped in, and the scene continued with Barbara as Jeannie, and then the CO2 (colored with lights) was turned off and the scene continued. *** Hope this helps. Of course this is just the text - didn't include any of the HTML in that file. |
