I know John and Tom had Problems with there Contract's and There walked out but I seems to remember amres Best mising a few Episodes and they had diffrent People playing Sheffif did James best have Contract Trouble.

If IMDb is correct, James Best was in 141 of the 146 episodes produced. Don Pedro Colley is credited with 9 episodes as Sheriff Little of Chickasaw County. The series had Enos and Cletus as deputies but Rosco was the only Sheriff. If I'm mistaken then perhaps someone will be kind enough to correct me.

rosco left for some episodes cause dressing rooms was un safe so he left for police academy in storlyine
