Default Some sequels you liked better than the original

I can honestly say, I liked "Die Hard With a Vengeance" better than "Die hard" That movie was non-stop action from the beginning to the end.

Yikes, not even close.

The action and villian and setting made the original Die Hard the best of them all.

There aren't many villians past 1988 that can hold a candle to Hans Gruber.

Anyway, I think that The Empire Strikes Back is a better film than Star Wars, though nothing can compare to seeing SW for the first time in theater.

The only thing close, actually, was seeing TESB in the theater for the first time.

Return of the Jedi--my favorite Star Wars movie, better than the original, IMO

Addams Family Values was much funnier than the first Addams Family, and that's entirely due to Joan Cusack

Grease 2.
And I'm probably the only person in the world who would say that.

I also really liked the Psycho sequels a lot.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze - I admit, I missed Casey Jones, though, as well as the first April. But I ended up liking the new April and Casey's replacement, Keno.

Batman Returns - Though in the long hall, I think the first one is the best, it's always been easier for me to watch "Returns" again and again. The first one can be kind of boring in certain areas. I've always loved this movie and it ticks me off that Warner Bros wasn't happy with it and switched directors for the next movie, killing the franchise (well to me anyways).

Spider-Man 2 - I love the Doc Ock character. When I first heard they were doing a Spider-Man movie, I thought it was a no brainer, the villain should be Dr. Octopus. When they went with Green Goblin, I was really ticked off. The first one ended up being great, but I'm still glad Doc Ock got his movie, too. Plus, the sequel doesn't have to go through the origins of Spider-Man. They can get right into the story.

Just a note: I don't like My Girl 2 more than the original, however, I really do like it. And I tend to watch it more than I do the original. But I think the first one's a classic.

I do too. Part III is my favorite of them all, though.
