TV Two questions...

These are both a little off-topic, but I was just curious.

#1. Do you think its right that Full House has six seasons released on DVD and that they aren't going to release anymore but ONE season of Growing Pains on DVD?

#2. Shouldn't this board be in the 80's section, not the 90's section?

Full House aired in mostly the 90's. It aired from 1987- 89 in the 80's, but 1990- 95 in the 90's.

I see that nobody answered your "Growing Pains" DVD question so I will. I think for the fans (I am not really one of them, sorry) they should continue releasing for--but they should also IMHO continue releasing Full House for all of the Full House fans out there (including Yours Truly). But again that's Warner Bros. They release one season and that's it. They release no more. Or if they do release more than it's many MANY years after the original first season release was originally released. They started with Murphy Brown (another show I don't really like or watch) and than that was it. They started with Night Court (I believe) and that's it. They started with Full House (big pause here for effect)...(the three dots)...(them again) and they continued and now they're on the sixth season,a season nobody seems to want to write a review of (they must be tired of the set being a barebones set) or simply they don't have any actual time. OK so my rant was off-topic but since yours was too,we're both even! LOL! Or does nobody LOL on here? Oh well! LOL! Hey,that rhymes! OK,that's my message!

I think number 2 was answered as FH aired more in the 90's than the 80's, to answer your first question, the reason they keep releasing FH seasons on dvd is because they sell very well and the GP dvd set sales numbers were very poor and as you can tell by the ratings and N@N pulling the GP marathon early and now reducing GP to one airing a night at 1:30 am no less. TV dvds are costly for studios to produce and if they don't sell well, what justification is for them to be made, same goes for tv ratings if it doesn't bring ratings then it gets taken off . I mean yeah i feel your pain i think if the situation was reversed i would probably be dissapointed but would understand why they aren't being released. i mean there are some movies and TV shows that i want to see on dvd but probably never will and don't get me started about Soapnet Taking Another World off the air, thats a whole other subject, anyways thats my 2 cents about the subject.
