Found a clip on YouTube which talks about the Titanic Conspiracy. The story goes...
In 1898, American author Morgan Robertson writes a book called Futility, in which a British ship called Titan, which is deemed unsinkable, hits an iceberg and sinks in the North Atlantic. In 1908, Shipping company The White Star Line began construction on the Titanic. At the same time, the company was working on 2 other ships, the Olympic, and the Britannic (originally the Gigantic). The clip's narrator suggests the 2 other boats were built "to trick people". In April 1912, the Titanic sets off on its maiden voyage through "clear waters". One day later, the ship hits an iceberg, and the rest is history. The Titanic was made out of metal, but metal is STRONGER than ice. They then try to demonstrate the collision using a scale model. Surprisingly, the model ship suffers no damage. Was the Titanic really sunk by an iceberg? Or was it planned all along?? If so, who could have planned such a thing? The author of the 1898 novel? The Megadeth guy? Who knows? |

11 days until my Hawaiian cruise
Go to that unnamed site and search for Pride of Hawaii Slideshow and the first video is apparently what I'll have to endure. |
