I just discovered Ion today

No wonder this board has been unusually active. I am a big Alice fan. I wish they would but the show on DVD, not the few scrambled episdodes that they have out already. anyway, I never get tired of Flo saying, "Kiss My Grits!" her and Mel to me was THE show. I remember one episode me himself said, Kiss My grits. LOL

LOL- Yeah, I remember that episode. It's from season 1 when they find a bag of money in the Diner and it later turns out to belong to a bag lady (Florence Halop) who'd been coming to the Diner for years and eating for free.

ALICE: Maybe you could offer a REWARD or something?

ANNIE (Bag Lady) : For WHAT? For NOT stealing my MONEY? Forget it!

MEL: (Furious) ANNIE . . .KISS MY GRITS!!!

That was a great episode, and I agree with you. Mel and Flo were the best characters, they kept the show FUN and played great off of each other. True chemistry.
