Default Anyone else have any embarassing moments in public? I had my first one Today

I was on my way home and when it was time for me to get off the bus, the back doors open and I slipped and just FLEW off the Bus and landed on the sidewalk while everyone on the bus watched me laying on the ground. I was so mad at myself, this never hapened to me before. This older lady asked me was I ok and I said-"I'm just embarassed" It could have been worst, there could have been pretty women in my age bracket walking past when I flew of the bus.

Anyone else have a embarassing public moment?

Oh wow, that could have really been bad. Are you sure you are not injured or in pain? Sometimes things flare up later. I hope nothing happened physically.

As for embarrassing things in public, I had one abt a year ago. I was walking with my boyfriend and our son to a carnival and right as we started walking on the grassy area, my foot went into this hole, it looked like a gopher hole, anyways, there went my ankle to the side and I fell forward. I tried real hard to keep from falling (you know, waving your arms abt like you are on a trapeeze) and BOOM! I FELL HARD!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, I tripped many times in the open and slipped on ice. Usually there is nothing you can do except play it off, keep walking like nothing happened.

I tripped walking up the stairs at school one time but I just said, "darn those wet stairs" even though I knew they were dry.

Oh geez, why am I thinking of that scene in Borat where Borat and Azamat are fighting in the nude, and they take their fight to a banquet room? Oh man.

Anyway, um. Can't really think of anything like that in particular. There was this one time about three months ago when I was crossing an one-way street. I stepped off the curb, and immediately proceeded to fall facedown on the street and get my pants dirty. I was soooo embarrassed, even though there was nobody around at the time.

And when I was at Venice Beach almost three weeks ago, this one street artist yelled at me because he thought I was taking a picture of him -- I wasn't even taking a pic of him. I was embarrassed over that, but I just thought "whatever" and shrugged it off. lol

I've had so many emabarrassments in public, it's not even funny. On my trip alone, I probably had close to a dozen. LOL!! Embarrassing public moments have become such a common occurance in my life, that they're not even embarrassing anymore.

I tripped going up the stairs at our old apartment building and there were several people coming down. It didn't hurt but it sure did embarrass me.

glad that you are OK but that gave me a laugh.

Almost 5 years ago it was snowing and it was very icy out. And I was leaving a friends house, I was walking down some steps and I just slipped and fell down 5 steps in front of everyone. I broke my wrist and scrapped up my elbow.

Hahhaa, yeah, a few weeks ago, actually. No one was around to see me fall, but I was going up a staircase at school (there was a door at the top of the landing), but I missed a step and went sailing up to the landing. The reason it was so embarrassing was because it was the biggest crash--my full backpack went down, not to mention my knees and elbows.

And when I finally composed myself and opened the door, two guys that were on the other side of the door were staring at me, LMAO. I just walked to my next class and pretended it was their imagination
