Rockets center Yao Ming was named the Western Conference player of the week. He averaged 30 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.25 blocks as the Rockets went 3-1 for the week, beating the Bucks, Clippers and Lakers before Sunday's loss to the Jazz.

In the last three games, he made 30 of 56 shots, averaging 32.7 points.

Toronto forward Chris Bosh was the Eastern Conference player of the week. He averaged 22.3 points and 14.8 rebounds.

It takes more than one player. You should know that. The Rockets lost against Utah not because of Yao but because of T-Mac. The center on a team can only do so much cuz it's the guards who control the ball.

What is he supposed to get the ball everytime they come down the floor? You have tp spread the ball around

So when your big man had made 3-4 in a row you don't keep feeding him the ball???? When your point guard is shooting 1-7 on the game and your 2 guard is 9-28 and your center is the one who is having the big night, don't you think it should go to him first?? And that is basically the plan from Van Gundy. Yao touches it first, if double teamed pass it out, if not take the shot. But Tracy starts to think he needs to get his so starts jacking up 3 pointers left and right. Drive to the damn hole and draw a foul instead of missing 3 pointer all night long!! EvenYOU can see that!!
