While strolling up 9th avenue in search of a burrito ten minutes ago, who did your friendly neighborhood TJL pass on the street?

"Frasier" star David Hyde Pierce!

He was probably on his way to the Hirshfeld theater for the Sunday matinee performance of his new hit musical "Curtains."

Loved the NY Giants hat Dave. Represent!

lol...that's pretty cool. Anyone else notice him and stop him or was he able to just walk through the crowd incognito?

David Hyde Pierce...always loved him. I couldn't imagine anyone else as Niles. So cool you got to see him!!

He was pretty incognito. He was doing the baseball cap thing, so he pretty much looked like everyone else strolling along 9th avenue on a Sunday afternoon. I must admit when I first recognized him, I had to do a double take, because I wasn't 100% sure it was him, but it was.

I hope I run into a celebrity or two during my trip to NYC with my sister next month! The last time I was in New York, I saw Seann-William Scott (Stifler from the American Pie movies) and singer Joss Stone, who were both guests at the hotel I was staying at in the Village!
