I happened to notice in the first, of this three part series of episodes......Fred and Lamont were already very tan before they left for the islands....Fred was just a little redder than normal, but Lamont was black as could be....(even darker than other scenes that were shot in Hawaii) he had a short afro, and a skinny mustache......beachy! lol......they obviously shot the scenes before they left (out of sequence) when they had returned.....

I didn't notice, but I guess they were really in Hawaii. One would think that was just a studio like myself.
