Spring Break - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone do anything special for Spring Break?

My son is off all next week for Spring Break and he wanted to go to Florida.
Since we don't get the week off from work, we can't go. But we're going to
leave tonight and go to Pigeon Forge in the Smokies and stay for the weekend. I know its not as great as going to the beach but at least he's getting to go somewhere.

we have off next week. but we don't do anything...besides on Easter obviously.

I had mine two weeks ago, and I flew out to Los Angeles for five days.

For my spring break in 2006, I got to spend five days in New York City. I didn't do anything for my spring break in 2005... although, in 2004, I got to go to London for 10 days.

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to travel to any more awesome places after that, being this one was my last real spring break.

I had my 'spring break' vacation two weeks ago

Now that my real spring break is this week, I have absolutely nothing planned

I'm going to enjoy just lounging around or seeing my friends.

who the hell has spring break in april?

mine was at the beginning of the month. i went to hell for it. didn't mean to, but apparently as hell that's where i was.

People who get out of school in June. I mean, it makes sense. They're a month behind us, so their holidays happen later -- except for set holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

When I was in school, I ALWAYS finished school on the week that was right before Memorial Day weekend, so I never had that weekend off from school. But from what I understand, the other schools that are open through June have that weekend off, so that is already a set holiday for them.

yeah, we get that whole weekend off. it sucks we get out in june, but we dont have to go back til september

The schools in our city usually have Spring Break either the week before Easter or the week after. My son says he's glad to be out of school no matter what week it is. We stayed at The Grand Resort & Convention Center
in Pigeon Forge for the weekend. It was really nice, it had an indoor pool where my son hung out & flirted with a couple of girls. So he had a good time even though he didn't get to go to Florida.
