Default How many times has the STUCK IN HANCUFFS storyline been seen in Sitcom History?

I noticed another episode where two characters were handcuffed to each other and that was Hangin with Mr. Cooper. So all together for me that makes

Sanford and Son-Esther and Fred

Three's Comapny-Jack and Chrissy

Hangin with Mr. Cooper-Mark and Nicole

Any other TV sitcom have a situation like this??

Mary Richards was handcuffed to her obsessive date (by the date himself) on an episode entitled "Romeo & Mary", from the third season of the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

It's been done to death. Don't forget Kramden & Norton in the Honeymooners.

Even in Benson they had a scene like this, but I think it was Benson getting handcuffed to a railing inside a building about to be demolished. I think the building contractor might have been in on that too. I'll have to watch the episode again.

Full House--In one of the earlier seasons, Stephanie and DJ were handcuffed together by Kimmy who couldn't find the key. I can't believe I forgot about that one!

Even the Brits do it. I have an episode of a Britcom named 'Shelley' where the main character (played by Hywel Bennett) is handcuffed to the cashier in a small "7-11" type store during a robbery. (A pretty mediocre show BTW, I guess you have to be an umemployed young British male to appreciate it)

Yes, and Dan and Liz were handcuffed together in the blackout episode in the opening season of Night Court.
