Facts of Life Set with a store item, possibly power ranger toy? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

A friend and I are having a difference of opinion, I think that during the credits (look to the left of the screen and you'll see this red blow up doll that looks like the red power ranger guy). Can anyone tell me if the power rangers were in existance before the early 90's because the doll first appeared in the season 7 credits theme song with "Facts of Life" logo in 1985.

If not the power ranger guy doll, what is the toy in the background supposed to be or represent from the 80's. You can tell there are marilyn monroe and james dean masks on the set -- so everything in the shop someway or the other was probably based off of popular culture.

I know what your talking about, but it wasn't the red power ranger. Power Rangers didn't start until 1993, I believe. I used to LOVE that show! LOL....Sorry for getting excited, but no, Facts was before the Rangers` time.

For a second there I thought you meant Marilyn Manson and Jameas Dean masks!

I think it's some random red-figure that looks like the power ranger.
