I know it was like 15 minute shorts, but it was a sitcom,it should be included somewhere maybe in the 1950s section, maybe they can merge that to 1950s and classic old Sit Com or shorts from before the 50s.

hi, the 3 stooges was NOT a sitcom. they were film short subjects that were shown in movie theatres before a the main picture was screened. preview trailers are shown nowadays instead of film shorts. when tv became popular, the networks needed programming. so they used film short subjects like the 3 stooges as tv programming. since most of us that watched the stooges first saw them on tv, we tend to think of them as a tv show, but they were actually short films for movie theatres. thanks

....were practically the backbone of Columbia Pictures' "short subject" division- and the most profitable- from 1934 through 1959. And they were the LAST theatrical series the studio produced! At the time "Sappy Bullfighters" was released, the studio had begun syndicating their two-reelers for television, where they found a new generation of viewers. And that's why, even after Columbia's other "short" stars- Andy Clyde, Charley Chase, Vera Vague, etc.- have been forgotten, the Stooges continue to be seen to this day!

Buster Keaton also was part of the Columbia shorts. Some of them were released on DVD in the last year or two.
