Orderize the Seasons... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

From your favorite to your least favorite.

Mine are:

The 4th Season: 1997-1998
The 1st Season: 1995
The 2nd Season: 1995-1996
The 5th Season: 1998-1999
The 3rd Season: 1996-1997

I know it's controversial to put the fifth season above the third, but I just like it more. What's your order?

1. Season 4
2. Season 3
3. Season 2
4. Season 1
5. Season 5

I think the show got better with each passing season (except season 5 of course). And season 5 isn't bad at all, I like it. I was considering putting it ahead of season 1 since season 1 only had 7 episodes but then I realized one of my all time favorite episodes is from the first season "Smoking". And plus Bill was my favorite character so that helped too.

I always used to say that Bill was my favorite character. Because he was a great character. But the more I watch the show, the more I feel Matthew is my favorite. And to me, he made season five worthwhile.

I can't pinpoint any reason why season three is my least favorite season. But for some reason it just is. I mean, it's still a good season and just about every episode is a classic, but when I feel like watching an episode, I very rarely aim for season 3.

I agree. Without Matthew, season 5 probably would have sucked. "Flowers for Matthew" is one of my favorite episodes from that season. And that one where he becomes a genius was pretty good too.

That's tough. I certainly have favorite episodes, but I have never given any thought to my favorite seasons, in order. Honestly, I love all of them, but just off the bat, I'd have to go with this:

Season 4 (when I first discovered NewsRadio)
Season 3 (classics one and all)
Season 5 (I LOVED it!)
Season 2 (ditto my Season 3 answer)
Season 1 (all 7 episodes, but it lacked the sure stride of the writing in Season 3)
