Default My Brother's Keeper: One of Later Season's Better Episodes

Guys,

I have always liked this episode. (Peter becomes Bobby's slave after "saving his life,") and Peter soon tires of the situation. It shows some good, realistic, sibling conflict where Peter and Bobby argue and fight like many real brothers. Favorite scene:

Peter gets tape and divides the room between them. (a.k.a "No Man's Land") Than, each blare their radio and TV just to **** one another off! Bobby goes and unplugs Peter's TV:

Peter: "Hey!!! Plug that back in, that's MY TV set!!!

Bobby: It's MY OUTLET! and you wanna know something else?

Peter: I can't here you through "No Man's Land!"

Bobby: Well, you better listen good, cuz this will REALLY interest you!

Peter: WHAT!!!???

Bobby: The bathroom's on MY SIDE OF "NO MAN'S LAND!" (Bobby goes in the bathroom and flushes the toilet!), great scene.

After Bobby flushed the toilet, they should have had Greg and the girls run into the room and yell "what was that noise?" Then they could ask Mike and Carol, and Mike would say, "well, I'm not sure what that was...have any of you kids ever heard that sound before?"

The bathroom line was dumb. Anyone could enter the bathroom from the hallway door.

Thank you Robert Reed! Just kidding Rich, BUT that is exactly the kind of thing he would say.

Was the inside of the boys' closet ever shown before this episode?

I didn't think it was that good of an episode, personally. The basic plot had already been done before, and it wasn't even great material then.

What I thought was funny was when Peter was downstairs alone in house, only Bobby upstairs in the bedroom. He was sitting on the floor with his back against the couch with his hand under the table listening to his friend on the telephone describing a hot girl.

What was he doing?? He kept saying Ohhh yeah...

Its an ok episode but its definitely different and changing of the Bradys. The brothers really fight, call each other names (so unBrady like). Peter interested in sex on the phone and we hear a toilet flush. All In The Family was the first TV show to ever hear a toilet flush. This was only a few years later and pretty ground breaking.
