Default Conclusion to finale or season 5?

what would you have preferred: a continuation of the wedding in CITC or season 5 of the show? for me, and as the show originally intended to go for 5 seasons,
it would have made more sense if there had been a fifth and final season of the show. particuarly as there were so many unanswered questions and issues still unresolved, particuarly in relation to caroline and richard. also if there had been a season 5, what potential storylines would have made it in the show? for me, reg- who debuted in the last season- would've been a regular character alongside caroline, richard, annie and del- although he would not be a replacement for charlie. also, i was thinking of storylines such as del and annie's relationship; how caroline and richard cope with the baby and how it brings them closer together, thus they get married in the end; caroline ending up being pregnant and richard is the father of her child; julia plotting to get her son back-only to fail; bringing back remo and the return of his restaurant to name, as well as getting rid of that terrible office

Anything would have been better than the way it ended. Personally I would've rather there been another season.

yes, i would've opted for the same as well. there will be some fans who'd say they'd prefer just one more final episode, but i felt that because of the events that unfolded in the fourth season, and the stupid ideas and unneccessary changes that were made, it would be more understandable to have a fifth season because by then there would've been so many potential storylines taking place. such as, as i just said del and annie's relationship, reg being a regular character, caroline, richard and his baby son stefano, and how the bond with his son strengthens C+R relationship and eventually brings them closer than ever. even storylines involving randy and julia. julia, trying to get back her son but fails in the end. one storyline which i wouldn't have liked to have seen is caroline giving birth to randy's son or caroline pregnant with him being the father, because that is worse than richard finding out that julia gave birth to stefano.

also, those problems and the resolvement of those problems would just about bring real closure to the show and thus, we'd get a happy ending
