Default Message to the Board - "If you are calling someone and they don't answer when your #

is on the caller ID, please don't call back with your number blocked because you will look like a TRUE LOSER-lol This girl called me twice this evening and I saw her number and said I will call her back later. So when she called the 3rd time, she blocked her number I guess to see if I would pick up and I did and she was like-"HEY!! and I was like-OH HI"

I think I may cancel our date, that was a sign of desperation-lol Please everyone, never BLOCK your number after calling with it UNBLock when the person didn't pick up

And I bet she feels really bad about herself now.
Maybe you should just answer it the first time.

Yeah, really. Why not answer the phone, especially if this is someone with whom you have a scheduled date?

I think it's harsh to call her a true loser Solomon. With that said, I've always been fiercely private when it comes to the phone. It's there for my convenience, and not an electronic monitoring device for others. I answer when I want, to whom I want...and I don't answer when it's not convienent for me. I don't answer the phone when I'm having a meal, when I'm watching a movie or something interesting on tv. If I have guests over, I usually don't answer the phone. If I just don't feel like talking, I won't pick up the phone.

I never answer blocked or private numbers. I'm not anti-social, and I offer no apologies. Everyone in my life knows this, and I never get into lies or excuses. It's a personal policy of mine, and I've felt this way my entire adult life. It's nothing personal. I never get offended if I think someone isn't picking up their phone when I'm calling them. Nobody can trap or trick me into talking to them, like she did with you Solomon. Don't answer blocked calls. If it's important, the person will leave a message on the answering machine.

I completely agree with everything you said. I'm the exact same way.

See that;s the other thing, I fell into her trap and feel stupid too because of her having her number blocked when it wasn;t any need for it. Then when I asked her about her number being blocked she says-"IT"S BLOCK? Come on who does she think she is fooling?

Yeah, she sandbagged you. I wouldn't go cancelling my date with her or anything, but there's no doubt she tricked you into talking to her. I wouldn't like that either, but like I stated, it could never happen to me. What did she want anyway, anything important?

Sol

Is there any chance she may have called from home the first 2 times and then from a cell phone the last time. You are probably right that it was intentional to see if you were home but is there a chance that it was just coincidence that she may have used a diferent phone the last time (my cell phone always comes up private unless I individually unblock a certain #)
