I was wondering that same thing today, since the ep is (supposed to be) on today.

I was about to post a screamy thread "Are we ever going to see the graduation episode?!!!!", because --- for the SECOND weekend in a row! --- it was bumped by the 3,259th airing of some Fresh P*ss episode they've surely done over and over. Like the poster above, I was hoping to get a nice, digital quality tivo copy of the bit of "This Is the Day" played in that ep.
Nope, Nick at Nightmare, the unofficial Fresh Prince Network, bumped it. |

Unfortunately, I don't have cable or satellite at the moment, but I must agree w/you. Shows such as Rosanne and Fresh Prince are so overplayed. They've got to get old one day. They really need to give Growing Pains a fair shot, give people a chance to see that it actually is a great show. I'm sure that if people were given a chance to sit and watch Growing Pains, they would see what a great show it is. Unfortunately, networks don't seem to see it quite that way. I just don't get it. It would make for much happier fans, and possibly a bigger fan base. I mean, I started watching Growing Pains on disney, and just fell in love w/it. I did see some episodes while it was still on the air, but I think I was too young to really get it. Anyway, bottom line is, networks suck. That's my opinion.

The Graduation episode is my favorite too.
The song BJ Thomas sings at the end 'This is the day' is on this cd called 'Growing Pains & Other Hit TV Themes' by Steve Dorff & Friends. I too looked forever for the song and was so happy to find it. Its not the exact version as in the episode but pretty close. http://www.amazon.com/Growing-Pains-.../dp/B000008F6I |
