Default Sorry to all the House fans but...

this show is way too predictable and redundant. The patients never die, the case is always mysterious until House figures out that it was something like a toothpick stuck in the colon or whatever, no one ever knows whats wrong with the patient, and House always wins. Big surprise. Other than House himself, the character, this show sucks beyond belief. House is pretty funny though, the character, not the show.

You are both right and wrong. You're right that the show follows a certain format each week. But doesn't every show have some sort of formula? However, House isn't always correct. You must have missed the episode this season when Chase figured out the right diagnosis for a patient when House got it wrong and almost cut off a girl's leg for no reason. House also doesn't always win in a sense. In an episode from season one, babies were dying of an unknown cause. House was trying several different methods of treatment on a bunch of the babies and ended up losing one. House did the autopsy on the baby's body which helped him save the lives of the others. House also doesn't always win when testing methods on patients. How many times have we seen patients crash because House didn't get the diagnosis correct the first time. House works on trial and error. You also discovered in season two that House did lose a patient. When the same case came around again, (the episode was "All In") he had to go through the process again trying to learn from the mistakes he made in the first case. However, he had to do it from scratch again because after his patient died in the first case, the family refused an autopsy. House already knows what the outcome will be if he doesn't discover what he missed. He does get it right this time, but not until he almost loses a patient again from the same problem. It just shows how House isn't perfect all of the time. It also shows how his team is beginning to learn from him. Also, the April 6th 2007 edition of "Entertainment Weekly" reports that, "While very few have died under House's care, viewers can expect it to happen again soon." The article quotes producer David Shore as saying, "House does believe that practicing medicine the way he does, he will make mistakes. But ultimately, he believes he will save more people than he will kill." Otherwise, what would be the point in anyone watching in the first place? We watch to see just *how* he will solve the case. I think this has been a great season so far in terms of controversial, compelling stories. My opinion is that it is one of the best shows on TV right now with characters who are beginning to grow this season. House is a great character and the others are beginning to come out of their shells. There aren't too many shows that I hate to miss. I'll tell you though. If I'm not going to be home, I make sure that I set my VCR for this one.

I actually like this show. I do see what you mean where the patients never die though.

you have it all backwards - the show isn't about the medical mysteries, its all about the characters and what House is gonna say next.

as for the medical stuff, it all breaks down to one thing:

ITS LUPUS or ITS NOT LUPUS.

I juat got a VHS tape todsay with nothing written on it so I didnt know what was on it....

It has 2 episodes of HOUSE recorded from FOX (I havent ever seen it before)

The guy that plays "house" sounds like the guy in the movie THE PERFECT MURDER (1999)

In the first episode House was charged with something and he resisted taking the deal and he held in there long enough and they discovered MORE EVIDENCE just before the time to takem the deal ran out....

If he didnt resist for as long as he did taking this deal,he would have gotton crap for no reason!!

Some girl who was a dwarf almost died.......

An interesting show.....
