Growing Pains Finale - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was watching the Growing Pains Series Finale on ION a couple of days ago, and I noticed they used the Rockapella version of the theme, instead of the sped-up Thomas/Warnes version. I was wondering if this was a mistake, or was the Rockapella theme on the original airing as well as syndie airings.

however for some reason they switch back to the other version like towards the middle point of season 7.then id say the last few episodes they went back to this acappella version .have no idea why but thats the way it was . now i don't know if the reruns have followed this pattern or not.
