Did they ever show the house when Momma learns to drive and she drives passed Iola's mother as she is taking trash out to the trash can by the road, and Thelma honks and said hello Mrs boyland(spelling) and it scares her and she falls over?

I think the producers just decided to spare our nerves. A glimpse into Iola's house would be the equivalent of an acid splash to the eyes. Think of all the handicrafts and floral arrangements draped around everything.
