Does anyone know or know of some? I do, I went to school with a few and grew up with some. I am also related to one. Teen pregnancy is bad enough, but now, parents are becoming grandparents in their late 20s. No one should be grandparents in their late 20s. I grew up with a girl who's son made her a grandmother at 29. She had her son when she was about 15. She's partially to blame, because she should have learned from her mistakes. A guy I went to school with was the same age when he had his first grandson. And as I mentioned I have a relative (my sister) who became one at 28. My sister had her daughter at 14, and HER daughter had a baby the same age. they both learned from their mistakes. How many young parents are ready to Be grandparents? LOL

I had a girlfriend who became a mother at the age of 13! She became a grandmother at the age of 33. It is not 20's, but still, that is CRAZY!!!!!!!
I remember when my boyfriend would go around saying how he is such a young grandfather (at the age of 39) "a young looking grandpa"...to which I would tell him, "That's not something to be proud of." Yes, call me a bitch but I wouldn't be proud of my child having a child at the age of 15

and I was just getting used to being just about the only one in my group of friends who doesn't have a niece or nephew.
it's hard to look at my friends as aunts/uncles at 14 and 15, so it's even harder for me to think of grandparents in their 20s.

The brighter I shine, the darker my shadows. And they pull me behind, as I let off the pedal. Why should I divide what feels so right? Is this where I want to lay? |
