April is alsways a really bad month for this network, because Funniest Mom is going to be airing every night, whether it is at 11:00, 2:00, or 9:00, there is always going to be an airing of it sometime on someday. TV Land does the same thing. They air a new episode of an orginal series, and then air it 10 more times that week, and it really bothers me. So even though Full House is on for an hour, it won't be airing that much because of FM 3.
I still wish Growing Pains was back on 9:30, or even just on weekends at 10:30 or something. |

Kim Coles and Hal Sparks Named Celebrity Judges NEW YORK, April 4 -- Nick at Nite revealed today the names of the 13 moms selected from auditions and regional competitions across the country to compete in the semi-final showcase round of Funniest Mom in America 3. It was also announced that actress/comedienne/playwright Kim Coles (Living Single, Celebrity Fit Club) and Hal Sparks (Queer as Folk, Celebrity Duets) will serve as celebrity judges this season. The six-part reality series -- hosted by Roseanne Barr -- premieres on Tuesday, April 10 from 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. (all times ET/PT) and follows the journey of moms across the country as they compete for the title of "Funniest Mom in America." The culmination event in which one mom is crowned winner will air on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 13 at 9:00 p.m. One lucky mom will win $50,000 plus the chance to host a special night of programming on Nick at Nite. The series is being executive produced by Allison Grodner (Big Brother, Blowout). Funniest Mom in America 3 is presented by KFC. After months of auditions and regional competitions across the country, 12 moms have been chosen to advance to the semi-finals round in the competition. Additionally, through an online component, after viewing a select number of submitted online videos, a 13th mom has been voted in by viewers via http://www.nickatnite.com. All 13 of these moms will compete in the semi-final showcase in Los Angeles which will air on the series. From there, six moms will be chosen to move on to the next round of the competition to compete in various comedic challenges, work with special coaches and prepare for performances where week by week, one mom will be eliminated by celebrity judges Kim Coles and Hal Sparks. The three remaining contestants left standing will compete in the show's finale, performing their stand-up before an audience, the judges and host Roseanne Barr. Following are the 13 moms competing to advance to the semi-final round of Funniest Mom in America 3: Vicki Barbolak Hometown: Vista, CA Vicki performs stand-up at The Comedy Store in La Jolla, CA and bases much of her comedy material on her life in a trailer with her 14-year-old child and husband. Name: Brent Burgess Hometown: Burlington, NC At 35, Brent is a relative rookie in the comedy world who decided just months ago that it was time for her to pursue her life-long dream of being a stand-up comedian. Name: Pat Candaras Hometown: Brooklyn, NY After retiring in 1996 and spending most of her adult life raising her three kids and caring for her two grandkids, Pat decided it was time to start her career in stand-up. Name: Jan Davidson Hometown: Santa Monica, CA Jan runs an eco-friendly housecleaning business and credits her husband and two children as her best critics for her act. Name: Kim DeShields Hometown: Amherst, MA As a mid-day radio host in Amherst, MA, Kim has been in front of the mike for years, but says it was her 15-year-old daughter to convince her to step in front of the comedy mike. Name: Janine Hayes (INTERNET PICK) Hometown: Haverhill, MA An energetic single mother of four, Janine has been performing stand-up since her divorce four years ago and often entertains her friends in the cramped two-bedroom apartment she shares with her children. Name: Andrea Henry Hometown: Norton, MA A mother to a newborn baby, Andrea began her career by taking a stand-up comedy class at the local community college and auditioning for Funniest Mom in America 3. Name: Angela Hoover Hometown: Las Vegas, NV A wife and mom to a boy and a girl, Angela -- who has years of Improv and Laugh Factory experience under her belt -- spends most of her evenings fine-tuning her stand-up act in Las Vegas nightclubs. Name: Emily J Hometown: Roy, UT With both of her children out of the nest, Emily has been honing her stand-up skills for the last fifteen years and works the Salt Lake comedy circuit at night. Name: Cathy Ladman Hometown: Santa Monica, CA A first-time mom, Cathy has been performing stand-up and pursuing an acting career for years. Name: Ms. Pat (Patricia Lee) Hometown: Riverdale, GA Ms. Pat credits actor Shemar Moore from the soap opera The Young and the Restless with encouraging her to pursue stand-up comedy - the actor heard this wife and mother of four making people laugh and encouraged her to step into the spotlight. Name: Stephanie McHugh Hometown: Westminster, CO Longing for her big break in the stand-up comedy world, Stephanie has been using her recent divorce and her beautiful daughters as fodder for her nightclub act. Name: Carol Montgomery Hometown: New York, NY A 22-year veteran of the stand-up world, Carol recently moved her family from Las Vegas to New York where she continues to appear on comedy stages in and around New York City. About Kim Coles When Hollywood first met actress, comedienne, and playwright Kim Coles, she was well on her way to becoming one of the funniest and most creative talents in the business. From her starring role as "Synclaire" on the long- running FOX sitcom Living Single, to her co-starring role in The Geena Davis Show, Coles has always been a true source of humor for television audiences. Coles has also found success in the current reality trend - on ABC's The Mole, VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, and BET's Coming to the Stage. When not sharing her thoughts from her hilarious book "I'm Free, But It'll Cost You," Coles is performing on comedy club stages across the country night after night. Coles also demonstrated her skills as a co-host of the hit morning program Fox After Breakfast, and as host of Lifetime's lifestyle magazine New Attitudes. She even graces the NY runways from time to time and appears in the latest print campaign for Ashley Stewart. Coles is no stranger to the challenging world of live theatre. She co- wrote and starred in her one-woman stage show Homework. The show premiered to raving audiences in Los Angeles and then outshined its first run by going Off- Broadway. The play is a funny and heartfelt look into the lives of three best friends, all played by Coles, who progress from elementary school to womanhood. About Hal Sparks Actor/comedian Hal Sparks began his professional career as a teenager in Chicago. As a member of the famed Second City Troupe, his quick wit and affable personality quickly gained him recognition and acclaim. After a successful run with Second City, Sparks moved to Los Angeles and immediately began performing at numerous comedy clubs, including The Improv, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory and The Ice House, as well as at Comic Relief's American Comedy Festival. From 1999-2000, Sparks was the host of the Emmy-award winning Talk Soup on E! Entertainment Television, winning rave reviews from fans and critics alike. For five seasons, Sparks co-starred as "Michael" on the hit Showtime series Queer As Folk, based on the controversial and critically acclaimed British series. In 2006, Sparks appeared on the FOX musical competition series Celebrity Duets and is also one of the stars of the VH-1 hit pop culture series I Love The 90's, I Love The 80's, The 80's Strike Back and I Love The 70's. He also co-starred in the Showtime Original feature Bleacher Bums, adapted from the critically acclaimed play of the same name. Sparks has appeared in the box office hit Spiderman 2 as well as Dude, Where's My Car? and Dickie Roberts, Former Child Star. On the stage, Sparks has performed in such productions as The Glass Menagerie and Brighton Beach Memoirs. |

I see a very small change in the schedule. It looks like this Thursday, April 12will be an airing of Designing Women at 5:30, replacing Full House, on Wednesday, April 18, at 5:30, and on Wednesday, April 25, at 5:30.
Also, ON Saturday, April 14, will be an airing of Murphy Brown at 5:30, replacing Full House, on Saturday, April 21, at 5:30, and on Saturday, April 28 at 5:30. So, it looks like Designing Women is now on Thursdays, and Murphy Brown is now on Saturdays. Since Nick at Nite has now strictly went Family Friendly Sitcoms, it is odd seeing thse two shows return. It is nice, and I will definitely enjoy watching them. |

I really don't understand the need for these changes. I mean, a night of Roseanne and Fresh Prince is nothing new, but it is getting old quickly. I enjoy watching both of these shows, but I also enjoy watching Growing Pains, The Cosby Show, Murphy Brown, and all the others that air once in a blue moon.

If Murphy Brown is replacing Full House on Saturday nights/early Sunday, how come Full House is listed for April 22? I'm confused, lol.
