Lightbulb If you could cast a Happy Days movie

Hello everyone
I am new here. I just wanted to get on and find a site dedicated to one of my fav all time shows. Now here is a question- do you think they will ever make a Happy Days movie and if they do who would you cast?
Here are my picks

Fonz- Johnny Depp
Richie-Topher Grace
Ralph-Owen Willson
Potsie-Ashton Kutcher
Jonnie-Mila Kunts( dont know quite what her last name is but she plays Jacki on that 70,s show)
Chachi-Tom Welling
Jenny Picilo-Jessica Simpson
Al-Robin Williams
Pinkey Tuscadero-JO DEE MASINA- ( country music star) (she is what got me wondering about this because after seeing one of her videos i thought she would be PERFECT for this role- she looks just like her and has the right attitude and the same facial expressions and she even sounds like her a little bit)
Mr.C-John Travolta
Mrs.C-Kelly Preston

Well, here is my list now lets see what everyone else can come up with

Not a bad lineup... I'd maybe like to see some younger stars, ie Milo Ventimiglia
as Fonzie, but not sure about the rest... I'd have to think on it.

Love the idea of putting some of the original players in different rolls and I like Lea Thompson as Marion. Im not sure who some of the other people are but I love the idea of Mark Addy as Mr. C. I could not think of anyone else but he would be perfect!

Exactly. We need another remake like we need a hole in the head!

Besides, Happy Days was done right the first time - with the exception of the last four years - and there's no need to put a black mark on the name.

Interesting! I've got Kevin James as Howard, but if you feel Mark Addy would be better in that role, that's all right to. I actually had Mark as Al, so would you consider Gary Valentine(Kevin James' real-life older brother) to be Al? I have him as Mickey, but all the same, post your thought.

Actually I think you had the better idea. I think I had the wrong person pictured in my head when I read your post. And you thought about some charectors that I had not thought of as well. I am not sure who Gary Valentine is though but I will trust your judgement since I like your other choices up so much!!

I do the same thing with the books I read- if I could cast a movie of that particular book who would play in it. It just fun to do, sont you think?
