I hate any wedding that took place in a home, apartment, store, bar, etc. WEDDINGS SHOULD BE OUTDOORS OR IN CHURCHES.

Brain Damage, what did you think of the ELR weddings though? I guess I can see where you think Robert and Amy but what about when Ray and Debra were reminiscing their own wedding? I thought you would have died seeing Patricia Heaton in a wedding dress!!! Irene, I guess you ralphed when Janet got married on 3's huh???

Debra looked hot even in a wedding dress! The ELR weddings weren't too bad, but overall, I don't like them.

Totally depends on the show, circumstances, who's getting married, etc.

For instance: On Friends... loved Monica & Chandler's wedding. Phoebe's wedding was ehhhhh. On Laverne & Shirley, Shirley's hasty writing-off from the show via a forced, random wedding to Walter Meeney serves as my stereotypical BAD wedding... i.e. a TV wedding for all the wrong reasons.

Oh God, seeing that episode last night and Jack telling Janet, "you can get married here!" as if that is how she pictured her wedding day...

Diane and Sam having their wedding in Cheers...uke:

I usually love them. Esp. if it's a couple you're really rooting for, like Joe and Helen on Wings, or Cory and Topanga on Boy Meets World. Then it's sort of sweet and touching. But I have to agree about Shirley....that was stupid!

It depends on who is getting married, on some shows it works and others it doesn't.
