Stuff I'd like to see on future DVD releases, if and when they do happen. - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'd love to see the wraparound segments that Lucie Arnaz did when she hosted the I Love Lucy Pilot (I Love Lucy: The Very First Show) that aired in 1990. I mean, I have it on the commercially released VHS that was released in the late 90s, but I'd still like to see it included on a forthcoming DVD release. I think it should have been included on the I Love Lucy: The Complete First Season DVD set as a special bonus feature on Disc 1.

I'd also love to see the colorized version of "LA at Last" that was shown at one of the loving Lucy conventions. I have heard about it and have always wanted to see it. That would be cool to have on DVD format. Maybe another colorized episode or episodes. Since the last colorization of I Love Lucy which was The Christmas Show, there have been still pictures, as well as the new/previously unreleased 1951 Onset Video Footage of the Tropicana and both of the Ricardo's apartment sets.

I think another thing we need is the old version of Babalu Music on CD and/or DVD, or an updated and newly revised one, especially since I Love Lucy is on DVD now and all of the songs/musical numbers have been remixed and remastered, and the picture and sound quality is amazing. I'd love to see it done by either Weird Al, who did the first one, or maybe somebody different. I'd love to see another "Babalu Music" music video like the one that was featured on the VHS release, it featured colorized scenes. I'd love to see a CD and/or DVD with just every song featured on I Love Lucy. I had started a project like that, but never finished it. It started with the I Love Lucy pilot theme song, the musical performances in the pilot and then the I Love Lucy them song that played over the closing credits of the pilot. I had even included the different variation's of the theme song whenever it was changed or different. Even if it was slightly different, I included it. The musical intros and outros would be cool, too. I just have my own ideas, what can I say? LOL

For each DVD I got the music from. I just went to the chapter selection menu for each episode and went under "Songs." Even if it wasn't a "sung" song, I still included it. It consisted of vocal, as well as instrumental.

I'd love to see the opening credits and theme song music for when The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour was shown on Channel 5 (FOX) during the late 80s and early 90s? I remember one was hosted by Ann Jillian and another was hosted by Betty White. One other thing I loved and haven't seen since is the birthday wishes that the stars gave for her 75th birthday celebration, during an I Love Lucy Marathon that Channel 5 (FOX) gave in Lucy's honor. The only ones I remember wishing her a happy birthday was Lucy Arnaz and Vicki Lawrence. She was dressed as the "Mama" character from Mama's Family. I think she was on the Mama's Family set when she sent out her birthday wish to Lucy.
