Default Veronica Mars Cancelled

Variety has learned from "Veronica Mars" star Tina Majorino's representatives that The CW has cancelled the critically acclaimed series. Kristen Bell and the gang won't be back for a fourth season on the network.

The mystery drama, also starring Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Teddy Dunn, Jason Dohring and Francis Capra, started on UPN in 2004 before that network merged with The WB to become The CW.

The four remaining episodes of season three are scheduled to air in May.

Oh OK.FOr a minute I thought that we weren't gonna see the remaining episodes.I'm alright with it not having a fourth season and ending before it starts getting bad ratings and cancelling it with a bad ending

this SUCKS.

They treated the show like CRAP, and i don't think that CW could find a better show to replace it with even if they tried - which they wont...

That is too bad. "Veronica Mars" was one of the few great programs on UPN/CW, and I wish it could have lasted longer.

Hopefully they will try to have some sort of finale, maybe wrap things up before the last episode.

I really don't want to believe this

I had only gotten into the show this season, so I would have liked if the show would have gone even 1 season longer.

I just don't understand why good shows get cancelled.

In my Entertainment Weekly, (The one with The 300 cover) it reads that Veronica Mars MAY get another season, however only if Gilmore Girls does. The chances of that are pretty slim.
I agree, this was one of The CW's better shows. I have read some of the pilots they have in store for next season, and there are only 1 or 2 that show any promise.

I'm really going to miss this show!

I hope by the time the season finale airs, the writers know if the show is coming back or not. I read in TVGuide a few weeks ago, that show creator Rob Thomas is writing the finale as a season finale, in hopes that it will make it harder for The CW to cancel the show.....I hope with this recent news, he changed his mind. I will be mighty pissed off if the show ends with cliffhangers!

I read that too. It seems like there's more talk about Veronica Mars being cancelled than Gilmore Girls not coming back.
I hope the girls at Gilmore Girls make a decision soon as to whether or not they're going to sign on for another year. They only have a few more episodes to wrap things up.

because its cheaper to make a crappy reality show - and of course if it tanks no one will care and they aren't out anything.

Such a shame... VM was one of the few decent shows the network broadcasts....

The CW better have some damn good pilots on hand for next season. They are likely losing Gilmore, now Mars. They lost Reba. 7th Heaven is iffy. Smallville, while still dominant and shows no signs of stopping, is slowly starting to age so ... CW is not in the best of spots to be in.
