Florida would talk to James abt seeing a doctor at the clinic for a free check-up regarding the supposed hypertension symptoms he was experiencing? Thelma going right up to James and dumping on him the way she did, while he was suffering from a headache was not the time to discuss this issue. Florida got mad at Thelma, when she should have told Thelma BEFORE JAMES CAME OUT OF THE BEDROOM, "When your father is not so angry and things have calmed down, I will talk to your father abt getting a check-up." No man, or anyone for that manner who is dealing with stress the way James was wants to hear stuff like that when they are so angry.
