Troy Donahue was on an episode after they moved to California, it was a favorite of mine.

Ted Danson as Laverne's fireman boyfriend... I'm not always a fan of when sitcoms turn serious, but this episode was really well-acted, etc.

Jay also played the DJ in the "Do The Carmine" episode from the final season where Carmine becomes a sensation.

Anyway, my vote goes to Henry Winkler, who played (who else?) the Fonz.

I remember when i saw that episode during it's first run when i was a kid. It totally threw me for a loop that they killed off a character in a comedy show. It was a powerful ep, but i found it really disturbing at the time.

The Fabian episode was good, but my vote goes to The Fonz.

Any episode where Carole Ita White guest-starred. She was great as Rosie Greenbaum and her fights with Laverne were priceless...
