I knew Yao was gonna suck tonight. Kurt Thomas blocked him. And wait didddn't 5 ft someting NATE ROBINSON pack yao?

this happened earlier in the season.

I knew that was gonna happen. They defend him better than any other team. He gets doubled before he even gets the ball. Smartest way to play him. Plus it was his first back to back game from being injured so I knew he was gonna be winded even worse. The Clippers played him the same way last night. He only got 14 or 16. I guess it was only Yao that looked foolish huh?? McGrady only shoots 8-28 from the floor.

Nobody said he istrying to fill Hakeems shoes. Dream was one of a kind. When you can get strong praise from Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell about your game, then you've become one of the elite. And that is what Hakeem got from those two. But here's an interesting stat.....Yao is averaging more points per game than Hakeem did at this age. Any onther player that has been Yao's height or taller has been nothing but a role player or a side show. Eaton was a defensive stopper. Bol really didn't do anything but put up a 3 pointer evert now and then. Shawn Bradly was supposed to become the second coming of Abdul Jabar. George Muereson(?) was a role player. Chuck Nevit sat on the bench most of his career. Yao is 7' 6" and has skills or he wouldn't be averaging 25 a game.

But neither one of them was CLUMSY and very Good Defenders. And did you forget that Manute Bol was a GOOD THREE POINT SHOOTER????-lol

Manute wasn't clumsy?????

What games were you watching!! Shawn Bradley?? Chuck Nevitt?? Mark Eaton wasn't clumsy but he was slow as mud. Hakeem used to say he was the hardest defender on him because he couldn't fake him out. Eaton was too slow to go for any fakes.

And I don't see where Yao is clumsy. He has good foot work, good hands...He is more polished and skilled than any player his size or taller. And even if he is clumsy by your standards, are you saying that you would rather have someone who gets 3-4 blockes a game compared to 25 pts a game?? Once again, Isaih is safe as the GM of the Knicks!! LOL

Bol only shot 21% for his career from the 3 point line. He only attempted 205 3 pointers and made 43 of them. So you may want to rethink the GOOD THREE POINT SHOOTER-LOL!!!
