Rob Schneider to 'Mess With' Adam Sandler Again

For Adam Sandler's latest comedic turn, he'll once again turn to his reliable stable of friends in need.

Frequent Sandler collaborator Rob Schneider is currently in negotiations to join the cast of Columbia Pictures' "You Don't Mess With the Zohan."

The Hollywood Reporter claims that (in quite a stretch) Sandler will portray a Mossad agent who realizes that intelligence isn't really his game. He thus masterminds a plot to fake his death and move to New York so he can realize his dream of becoming a hair stylist. Schneider will join his buddy by playing an East Yistannen cab driver.

The project -- written by Sandler, Judd Apatow and Robert Smigel -- will begin production this summer in Los Angeles and New York. A summer 2008 release is projected. Sandler's Happy Madison will produce.

Among the numerous Sandler-Schneider collaborations are "The Waterboy," "Big Daddy," "Little Nicky," "The Animal," "Mr. Deeds," "The Hot Chick," "50 First Dates," "The Longest Yard," "The Benchwarmers" and "Click." Schneider recently wrapped his directorial debut," Big Stan."
