Default FOL Fashion

What does everyone think about the clothes on FOL? I was watching some of the later eps and I noticed Blair was dressed much older than her real age. Alos, I watched the ep where Mrs G got married and Jo was wearing a dress I sware was for an 80 yr old woman (she was also wearing sneakers).

I think it's looks kind of cool and if looks good in 2007 it must've been THE style in the 80's

Yep, it was the style in the 80s. Don't forget. One of the Keaton sisters did wear something like that in a couple of earlier-mid seasons of Family Ties. Remember the Tutor episode? You can't forget that dress.

You know I never thought about it before but that dress did look like it was made for an older women not for the age Jo was playing and once I read your post I could just picture Dorothy from Golden Girls wearing that dress but not the sneakers

I think that Blair dressed great during those later seasons.

I also noticed the same thing about Blair. In season one, she would wear tight sweaters, jeans, turtlenecks. She almost always wore a long gold chain. In the later years, she almost always wore a long skirt and a blouse up to her chin practically. I am guessing that as she got older she wanted to exercise more control over what she wore, and probably didn't want to feel 'exposed' by suggestive clothing.

As for Tootie, when you watch several episodes, Tootie is the one who unfortunately was wearing the same sweater (and other clothes) over and over again. Guess they didn't have much of a budget. When you watch the episodes on DVD back to back, that is when you really notice it.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I am kind of having a little writers block . I am getting close to the end but I'm just having a little trouble coming up with the next part before the end. So hopefully I figure it out in the next few days so I can post again and not keep you waiting.
