My Girl: The Series (Spoilers from the Movie included) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This series, which I'm describing as a live action show with the original movie actors (Anna Chlumsky, Dan Ackroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis) shows Vada's life in 1987, when she's about 25 or 26. The actress is now 26, and since the first movie was set in 1972, I had to set this series in 1987. Like "Desperate Housewives" has the late Mary Alice narrating the episodes, "My Girl: The Series" will have the late Thomas J. as the narrator for each episode. That way we can keep him in the series. Thomas J. is the one who refers to Vada as "my girl."

I wanted to reserve this spot for my episode guide. So I'll let you know that I've edited my first post. Nothing's official yet, this is just my thought process.
