Dorothy Dee Carlson has been caught

Does anyone remember a fugitive named Dorothy Dee Carlson. She and her husband, James Carlson, both went on the run in the early 1990s after they were charged with sexual assault. Dorothy is now in police custody. She was arrested after she turned herself in. Also, recent developments suggest that James Carlson died while hiding in Mexico.

According to the article that I came across (see the link below), the Carlsons were profiled on both America's Most Wanted and Unsolved Mysteries. But at this point, their names aren't ringing any bells for me.

In any case, it's always good to hear news about a fugitive being taken into custody.

In any event, it's always a great day when a child predator is captured.

Was this the one case where the guy was a respected and well liked Fire Fighter or Ambulance driver, who invited kids to his house where he and his wife abused them?

Or was that another case?

That was a different case. The firefighter-turned-molester was caught a few years ago.

The Carlsons might have been profiled on the show as part of a "special alert" segment. It's also possible that their UM profiles were not rerun on Lifetime.

These possibilities could explain why their names don't sound very familiar.
