A goof in "Operation Florida"... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

When the doctor goes into the hospital room to check on Florida, the family leaves the room. James goes to check abt renting a television for Florida. Then the scene goes back to the hospital room where Florida is having trouble with the hospital bed. The only people in the room is Florida and the lady in the next bed. THEN, James returns and tells the kids the hospital is too expensive and he can't keep Florida there. THEN, the doctor emerges from Florida's room...WHERE WAS HE WHEN FLORIDA WAS TRYING TO ADJUST HER BED??????

Good Question, I just watched that episode, and when they did a wide shot of Florida's bed and her roommates bed there was no one else in the room. I think that was a big goof on the directors part.

Glad you had a chance to notice this.

I was thinking it was editing, but you are right. The family left the room because of the doctor. It wasn't like they went in the room, left the room, entered again and left because of the doctor.

Yep they made a big boo boo, I was watching the DVD today and I even looked at that part twice to make sure I didn't miss anything.
