I am dreaming this, maybe, but didn't a rock group remix the Ballad of Gilligan's Island a few years ago? I am going nuts trying to remember! Thanks!

Yes, a group called Bowling For Soup did it.

Also Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies did it sometime during the 90's.
