Just how easy is it for someone to just walk away from their life? I know they've mentioned it on UM and shows like it but just how easy is it? And without some sort of data how can a measurement of success be recorded?

Obviously I've never given it much thought but I suspect some the posters here could provide quite a bit of information. I'm also guessing there are tons of websites on the subject too.

I saw an episode of UM the other day on Lifteime Real Women that profiled a girl who lived in Reno who had dissapeared. They found books in her abandoned car about "how to change your identity." I can't remember if she was murdered or ever turned up alive. There was some speculation she had been hookin' and a pimp was after her.

I can't remember if there was an update, but I remember thinking during the episode that everything she claimed was in her mind. I think she was delusional.
