Hey, I was watchin this on the ultimate collection about Georgia Rudolph on psychics, the lady who thinks shes a reincarnated lady from the ohio river area who drown in the ohio river. Anyway, I always found this case interesting. Although, they didn't include the update that I thought was with it, where some guy said he always had dreams he was Tommy Hicks, her boyfriend from back then. Is this true or am I just thinking of this? And what do you think of cases like this? I think it's hard to believe not to be reincarnation, maybe we all are but our memories are supressed, where some peoples memories are not as supressed. who knows.

No I do believe you are right about the update. I can't stand this case for one simple reason, her voice makes my ears bleed.

Huh, I had no idea there was an update on this case, pretty unusual for a psychic segment. I would have like to seen this as I have the psychic box set, I wonder why they didn't include it. Chalk up another error for the people that do the First Look Box Sets. Come to think of it, I've never seen the update on Lifetime, althought I have seen the actual segment on there several times. I don't know, I thought the Geogria Rudolph story might be legit, but this guy claiming to be Tommy Hicks sounds kind of fishy. That would be something if it's true though.

This is probably the most annoying segment I've seen so far on my binge through the episodes on Amazon Video. Her voice annoys the hell out of me.

Although I'd heard a lot about it over the years, I never took the time to seek out the Georgia Rudolph segment until today.
I agree with several of the other posters who have remarked on how well-filmed it was. Perhaps even one of the best-filmed segments in the show's history. I think Georgia Rudolph really wanted the things she believed to be true. I don't know how much about her birth family she ever knew--and I am certainly no physchologist--but part of me wonders if the Sandra Jenkins story wasn't a way to create an identity or past she may have felt she was missing as an adopted child. |

Season 3 has the update WITH the guy who claimed to be Tommy Hicks. I thought for sure that whacked that because they thought he was a fraud, but alas the update still exists...
Great segment but I don't believe either one of them. |

It would be interesting to know whether any connection could be made between them or whether they were both just attention-seeking or nuts.

I'm re-watching this Unsolved Mysteries segment -- I last watched it maybe 20 years ago.
I agree with you guys that her voice is unbelievably annoying. It's also theatrical, which makes her story dubious to me. *DRAMA* |

It's one of the best technically produced segments they ever made.
For that reason alone I don't care, fake or not. I'm here for it

The segment went on way too long-over 20 minutes I believe. Annoying that such time was wasted on such tedious nonsense, while more deserving cases on missing people like Nyleen Marshall for instance only received a few minutes.

Sorry to bump this topic but I saw this segment today and something jumped out at me.
This is regarding the huge family photograph that Georgia said Sandra was standing in. Georgia said under hypnosis that Sandra was born in 1895. The picture was taken in 1908. This would make Sandra 13 years old at that time. First, the girl just doesn’t look 13. Also, in that era most young ladies didn’t wear their hair up until they hit about 15-16 years of age. We know that information can be lost, but the fact that the girl is the only one not named in the picture is amusing. Really? Of all the people in the picture she is the only one not named? |

What's interesting is there are many people who have very good evidence of reincarnation that would have made very convincing segments but they went with this nonsense. I know I had vivid "memories" as a child that lined up with life in the 60s-70s but nothing concrete I could actually research or bring to UM. |
